Equality for entrepreneurs

Identity for a financial platform committed to changing who gets funded and how.

Txeya began with a clear idea but no visual presence. The name, already chosen by the founders, carried its own story, inspired by Theodora of Constantinople, one of history’s earliest feminists. Born into poverty around AD500, Theodora rose to become an empress who fought for women’s rights and justice. Her spirit shaped the brand. Even the name carries her echo, Txeya (pronounced “Teya”) — an unusual name for a remarkable woman.

Details

Insight The founders of Txeya came from diverse backgrounds and had experienced inequality first-hand. They wanted to create a financial technology platform that would make funding fairer and more accessible for entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities, female, Black, minority ethnic and LGBTQIA+. Our task was to bring their brand platform to life. They had the strategy, the story and the name. What they needed was a voice and visual identity to match their ambition, a balance of credibility and courage.

Story Working from the brand statement Creating equality in entrepreneurship, we shaped a system built around one symbol — the underlined E in Txeya. It stands for equality and entrepreneurs, linking purpose and product in a single mark. The identity reflects both sides of the brand: the professionalism of a financial institution and the energy of a diverse, creative community.

The tone of voice followed the same principles. Unapologetic yet supportive. Passionate but never preachy. A mentor, not a parent. The result was a brand that could speak with conviction to investors and with empathy to founders.

Engage We created a complete visual language for the launch — logo, colour palette, type system, illustration and digital templates. The core palette of blue, pink, red, yellow and dark blue became a symbol of inclusion and optimism. The expressive brush mark added personality and movement, contrasting the clean geometry of the logo.

Clarity Txeya’s identity gives form to a belief, that equality is not just moral, but measurable. The brand now stands as both platform and promise, creating visibility for founders who have too often been excluded from opportunity.
