Insight The name DAPW felt technical and functional, with little emotional connection. In a market dominated by familiar high-street names, the brand needed warmth, clarity and aspiration. Through workshops and brand audits, it became clear that customers valued authenticity and service, while the business wanted to communicate expertise and value.

Story The new name Soak&Sleep reflected the wider product range while staying playful and engaging. The brand idea was built around surprising and reassuring customers — creating everyday moments of “wow”. A new brand core, values and tone of voice brought personality and trust to every interaction, forming the basis for all communication.

Engage A complete identity system was created, from the logotype to photography and illustration. Natural lifestyle images combined with hand-drawn sketches to create a sense of quality and accessibility. PIN Creative led the creative direction for twelve months, overseeing the launch across packaging, advertising and web, including the Magento platform and social campaigns. Internal materials such as the Little Book of Soak&Sleep and office graphics helped embed the values and engage staff with the new brand.

Clarity The rebrand repositioned Soak&Sleep as a confident, customer-friendly leader in online bed and bath retail. Within a year, Which? rated it the UK’s top duvet brand with a 96% satisfaction score, ahead of both John Lewis and IKEA.
