Do you trust everything that AI says? Does your AI know everything about your business? Or do you shield it from that knowledge?
This morning I was part of the panel on the FSB Making AI work for your small business webinar with former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He asked me how I’d taught my AI more about my business and we chatted about why this is important.
LLM (Large language models) are the cornerstone of AI. The thing is, it knows everything about everything. Sure it understands branding. But the results can be a bit vanilla.
SLM (Small language models, which I like to call SLiM: Small Language intelligent Models). Trained on your data, point your AI to that data and it understands more about how you work and what your philosophy is.
I’ll admit that I don’t know everything about branding. But that’s not the point. I have a strong belief about what branding is, and what it isn’t. And I’ve written about it for years. So my AI understands branding through my point of view.
The key thing is you need the content. It doesn’t need to be super smooth and detailed, but it should be organised and easy for the AI to navigate.
