It’s Friday the 13th, and if I believed in bad luck, I might say it struck this week. I ran out of time to write my usual Quick Pint.
But it’s not bad luck at all. It’s just poor planning on my part. More importantly, I have good news: I landed a new client with tight deadlines (and a Friday afternoon presentation).
I don’t believe in luck, good or bad.
Luck is simply when “preparation meets opportunity.”
Remember that the next time you’re offered a project, that feels like a perfect fit. It’s not luck; it’s the result of all the work you’ve done to prepare yourself for the right opportunity.
